Trek 2010

Justus, Jacquelyn and Brooklyn were able to attend Trek this year. I started this post many many months ago and now I have decided that it is time for me to do some major blog catching up so I am starting with this. I never did finish it so it is just as I left it. Enjoy a bunch of pictures of the kids enjoying their time on trek.

Sandbox Time!

In May, After much pleading from the little girls, I decided that it was time for my children to get a sandbox. I stained the wood and dug out all of the grass. Justus helped with drilling holes and placing the screws in it to hold it all together. It was a fun project to do and the kids love it!

Brooklyn's 12th Birthday

It's official! Brooklyn is 12 years old and in Young Women's!

Who knew that a twelve year old would get so excited about sidewalk chalk, a webkins dog, a big bouncy ball and of coarse CHOCOLATE!!!

Prayers for a Friend

On March 29th, as our dear friend Evan Sleight was going to work his truck had a tire blow out. The truck went off the freeway and rolled. Miraculously Evan survived the impact of the roof caving in, but Evan was paralyzed from the neck down. Evan went through surgery to fix the vertebrates in his neck and to straighten out his spine and everything went well. Evan and Robyn have now gone to Denver Colorado for rehab at Craig Hospital which has the best facilities for Evans condition.

From here on out everything is in the Lords hands. Evans spirits are high and he hasn't lost his since of humor. Evans faith and determination will see him through this trial. He is not a quitter and if he has his way he will one day walk again. My prayers are with him always and I hope that one day he will be able to achieve his goals. Good luck, my friend, my brother. We love you!
